How it all started:

First and foremost, I am a soccer player and have a love for the game that will never die. I have played since i was 4 years old. Playing on an all boys team up until I was 12 years old taught me how to play smart and aggressive. I played competitive soccer up until I tore my A.C.L., M.C.L. and meniscus at 15 years old. 3 years later and a total of 3 A.C.L. surgeries, I decided to take it easy on my knee and put all of my time and effort into coaching. At 28 years old, I was able to tryout and join an amazing Women's soccer team, Unity FC, to play in the W.S.P.L. in May and June of 2020. Although I was a player, I found myself coaching and leading on the field and knew I was right where I should be. We played our first game as a team and won 3-1. I played center mid, assisted one goal and scored another.

Coaching Experience:  

  I have been coaching competitive soccer for 10 years. In those ten years, I have been been a part of 3 different soccer clubs in the Bay Area. These last 10 years have given me the opportunity to train players of all ages and levels. I overlooked a recreational program to help guide the coaches to deliver fun and effective drills/practices for their young players.  I have been coaching at my current club the last 5 years. I have been a head coach for 1-2 competitive teams every season. I have experience in coaching as well as playing in the 3v3, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 format.

I am a D License coach and am currently working on my C license through U.S. Soccer. I have a Bachelors of Science in Physical and Health Education for grade levels K-12. I have been teaching physical education for 5 years.  My playing experience, coaching education and Physical education degree allows me to understand my players and the tools they need to succeed. My goal is to help them become the player they see themselves being. I have the mind-set  of a player, soccer knowledge of a coach and strategies of a teacher.  I am confident in my ability to take any player from average to Superior.
